Photo Shoot

Since we have taken LOTS of pictures of me & the baby bump, we decided that the daddy-to-be and bump should ALSO be seen together! So, we had a photo shoot the other day to show us all as a soon-to-be family! :)

Final preparations...

So we're are literally down to almost ONE week until the due date! Part of our last minute preparations for Baby T was to finish the room. We finally got the bible verse up on the wall! It was quite a feat, but well worth it because I absolutely LOVE it! :)

Another part of our final preparations is to spend as much time with friends as we can. We realize our nights of going out to movies and restaurants are quickly coming to an end, so we've been trying to take advantage of every free weekend! Tonight, we went out to a comedy show in downtown Houston with our friends Greg & Emily to see Brian Regan.
We had a GREAT night - a wonderful Italian meal filled up our tummies, and then we literally laughed off every calorie at the show!

38 weeks!

We can hardly believe that we only have TWO weeks (or less!) until we finally get to meet Sweet Baby T! It seems like we've been waiting and praying for that day for so long, that it's just surreal to be so close. At my appointment this week, everything looked great with the baby once again. It's head is still way down in my pelvis and apparently it was moving and responding to Dr. Peterson as she did my internal exam! She said she still thinks I'll be pregnant when I go back to see her next week....so it looks like Baby T is going to make us hold out for a little while longer. Perhaps it will come just a little early and we'll have an Easter baby! I'm still feeling GREAT...no swollen ankles or feet and still lots of energy to walk outside with Journey. God has most definitely blessed me and made this an amazing pregnancy!
As part of our prep for this new adventure into parenthood, Tyson and I took a "Life with Baby" class last weekend where we learned all about taking care of this new little thing - from bathing to swaddling to diapering and everything in between. Minus the pushups that Tyson had our baby doll doing during class, he paid great attention, actually took it quite seriously and seemed to learn a lot! :) I cannot wait to watch him as he becomes a daddy...I never thought it could be possible, but I think I might just fall even MORE in love with him.

He went into the class feeling a little like this.....

And came out fully prepared, feeling like this! New Daddy of the Year!! :)

Watching Baby T Move...

It's one of my favorite things to do...stare at my tummy and watch as Baby T rolls around inside of me. Lately, this baby has been moving a ton and also having the hiccups, so I tried to catch some of it on film. I can't even believe that I'm 37 weeks and we only have THREE weeks to go! :) Everything's still going great and today Dr. Peterson said the baby's head is way down in my pelvis...which should hopefully make for a *somewhat* easier delivery! And my cervix is starting to open and thin out too...although she said she thinks I'll still be pregnant in a week when I see her again!
