Are you ready for some football?

Labor Day has come and gone, which apparently means it's officially the end of summer...although, if you stepped outside, you most certainly wouldn't think so.  Inside, on the other hand, I'm trying to trick us into thinking fall is just around the corner by switching out my Scentsy to Pumpkin Pie scent.  It's sort of working.  And football has officially started, which always makes me think of fall too.  Maybe those cooler temps will get here sometime before Christmas?  We can hope, right?
We spent Labor Day weekend in Lafayette watching Uncle Brady's first football game of the season.  Unfortunately, it was pouring down rain, so Parker and I weren't able to go to the game...we decided to try out Chuck E. Cheese instead.  On a Saturday.  Can I just say, that place is bonkers on a Saturday? My son ran around like a kid on crack, or some sort of other drug, and was literally trying to steal the skee balls out of people's hands.  He LOVED it.

He took a great nap on our way to Lafayette

This is literally Parker's favorite trip EVER to a grocery store.  He is obsessed with steering wheels lately, so this cart was pretty much heaven for him.

In fact, he loved it so much that he threw one of his biggest fits to date when we took him out of it to leave.  That NEVER happens when it's time to leave Walmart during our weekly grocery shop!

Just doing some business from our hotel room...

Let the Chuck E. Cheese fun begin!

Parker and I ate dinner together at the hotel while PawPaw, Gigi and daddy were at the football game...Parker thought it was pretty awesome that he got to watch Disney AND eat dinner at the same time.

He was exhausted after such a great weekend with PawPaw & Gigi in Louisiana!

We went to Academy as a family on Labor Day...Parker needed a new hat.  Note the poor boo-boo on his knee...he literally gets one gone, and then falls and gets a  new one.  I'm learning that that will probably be a pattern in the life of this little boy.

Parker and Tenley spent some time cooking together...

 He seriously LOVES her.

There was no way this kid's daddy was going to let him start football season with only a Texans jersey in his wardrobe!  Hence the brand new, Tony Romo Dallas Cowboys jersey that is just like his daddy's.

We watched the first Cowboys game of the season with our friends who love them just as much as we do!  Greg & Tyson were very proud as they looked at their sons sporting that famous "Cowboy blue" and white.  Yes, even one-month old Baby Brody had on his Cowboys onesie.  (And the mommy's were wearing their Cowboy apparel too!!)

We got a brand new batch of hand-me-downs from Trentster!!  Parker was very pleased with his new wardrobe.  And with his Nutrigrain Bar for breakfast.

We had a playdate with Parker's buddy, Asher the other day and the two of them were hammin' it up for the camera.

Is that a cute kid, or what?!

It finally happened.  Parker discovered Barney and was completely mesmerized.  What is it with that purple dinosaur?

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but Parker loves to talk on the phone.  He has figured out that when Siri pops up, you talk to her like mommy does.  This is a picture of what she interpreted him to be saying.  Too funny!

Something upset his tummy and we had our very first experience with big boy vomit.  I think it actually made us miss all of the spit-up from when he was a baby.  Luckily, we were outside when it happened but this poor little guy had no idea what was happening to him and as you can imagine, he burst into tears afterwards and then immediately fell asleep on me.  So sad.

Luckily, the Texans and Cowboys didn't play on the same day this week, so Parker was able to support BOTH of his teams without having to do a wardrobe change on Sunday.

He loooooves playing with daddy at the park.

The weeks are flying and he's getting so big.  I didn't know it was possible to fall more and more in love with him each day, but I think it's happening.  That little boy has us slightly completely wrapped around his finger.
