FOUR Months Old!

Did another month really already come and go that quickly?! Parker is officially one third of the way through his first year of life! If I say that again, I think I might cry! He seems like he has changed so much in just the past week alone, but so far in this month he has...found his feet and is loving them, rolled over in the middle of the night from his tummy to his back and surprised himself when he woke up facing the ceiling, finally laughed at us (and he really makes us work for them), rolled over from his back to his tummy, and grabbed toys!

He is such a big, happy, handsome boy!!

Poor baby...

Our sweet baby caught his first icky cold! He could barely breathe in the middle of the night on Friday because his poor little nose was so congested. :( He didn't sleep hardly at all that night, and on Saturday he could barely nap because the minute I laid him down, his nose got all plugged up again. So, he took a four hour nap on my chest instead...and I loved every minute of it because I am dreading the day when he gets too big for this.

The Birkenfelds are back!

Our great friends, The Birkenfelds, moved away to Canada in June and we have missed them DEARLY! They finally came back for a visit and it was SO good to see all of them again! We packed in as much time with them as we could before they had to leave to go back to Canada...so so thankful for such sweet friends like them!

Parker was munching on his fingers while all of us girls had lunch together...

Kim, Benjamin and Heather at lunch

My good friend Marianne and her daughter, Norah saying hello to Parker! We had dinner at their house Friday night with a surprise revealing of what the new Baby Birkenfeld would be!

Heather, Karly Birkenfeld, me and Marianne...Karly is pregnant with her 3rd (miracle!) baby!

The Birkenfeld boys are so happy to be getting a brand new baby SISTER!

I couldn't resist getting this pic of Norah eating her cupcake! She was in heaven!

And this really truly is her "cheese" face when you tell her to smile! Cracks me up!

Our friend Nathan hanging out with Parker

So, So, SO good to have all of the girls back together again!!

First time in the Jumparoo!

We put the Jumparoo together last week and put Parker in it for the first time....his cute little feet don't quite touch the floor yet, so we had to put a pillow underneath. He wasn't quite sure what to think about it at first and kind of just stood there stiff legged, but he definitely started to like it when I pushed it up and down showing him how to make a jumping motion! He still hasn't quite gotten it and most of the time just stands there when we put him in it, but I'm sure he'll get the hang and start jumping like crazy soon!

Just checking it all out...so many new toys to play with!

Not so sure what to do with his feet!

Hanging out around the house...

Just a few pics of Sweet P in his daily routine of playing at home...

He still loves the turtle, elephant and lion on his vibrating chair!

His neck is so strong now!

And yes, he is turning into a TV watcher just like his daddy!

Playing with daddy = Parker's favorite!

Finally finding his feet!

Such a sweet face!

My two incredibly handsome boys!

Parker and daddy!

Daddy came home from work early today and played with Parker in his new jumparoo!! Parker hasn't quite figured out how to jump yet, but he sure likes it when daddy does!

Parker's Sunday Best...

Parker has been given some ADORABLE outfits and I just LOVED him in this Polo that our friend Kim Warren bought him! He wore it to church today and everyone kept talking about how cute it was on him!! :)

Oh my goodness this boy will just make you melt!!!

Baby Sadler Surprise!!

For those who don't know, Kelly and Robert are expecting baby #3 in December!! They have been having quite a debate as to whether or not they should find out the sex of the baby, or just wait and be surprised, ever since they found out they were pregnant four months ago! (Personally, Tyson and I were totally pulling for the surprise since it was so fun with Parker!) They couldn't come to the same decision so as a compromise, they decided it would be fun to find out what they were having, but at the same time as the rest of their family and friends so everyone could be surprised together. We heard of a really fun way to do this by having the sex of the baby written in an envelope and then having someone make a cake that was dyed either pink or blue so that when you cut into the cake, you see right away if it's a boy or girl! The only problem was....who would make the cake?? Enter Aunt Karis. Instead of pay someone 50 dollars to make it, Kelly and I decided that I could make just as delicious of a cake (even though it might not be as pretty!) for way cheaper. So I actually had the HUGE privilege of finding out first!!! After trying out several cake AND icing recipes, I finally found the perfect ones for them and I must say....they were pretty stinking GOOD! Tyson and I though, do not want to eat ANYMORE cake for quite sometime! (He had to help me taste test!!) The party for the big reveal was last weekend and everyone came wearing pink or blue based on what they thought the baby was....and I wore a neutral brown since I obviously already knew! What a super fun and memorable day!!!

Parker was rooting for a boy cousin so he wore blue!

After days of taste testing and trying to decorate....the finish products!

Such a blessed, such a HAPPY family!

All of the Sadler men were obviously pulling for another boy all decked out in their blue!

I must admit, I am SO proud with how the cakes turned out....they looked ALMOST as GOOD as they tasted!!

Little did Robert know that Kelly actually had me make one cake that was a "decoy" cake of both pink AND blue to throw him off! This was the decoy...

This was the real one!

Robert and Kelly about to cut into the FAKE cake! :) I love how he's in blue, and she's in pink!

You can barely see because it's so dark, but the fake cake had blue on top....look at Robert's smile when he thought he was having a boy!!!

Very confused and not so happy when he saw the pink and Kelly told him it was a trick and they really weren't going to find out today! It was a really mean trick, Kelly!!

I told him the round one was the real one so he ran over and chopped into it before Kelly even had a chance to help him!!!

And....IT'S A GIRL!!!!

Tess Marie is so happy to have a sister!!! Either that, or just happy to eat some pink cake!

I love this picture of the mommy to be for the third time!!

Since I knew she was having a girl before anyone else, I HAD to buy my new niece some new clothes!!

I love this picture of the fake cake! It really turned out so neat looking!

Yay! Another precious Sadler girl!!!

The blue outfit Parker wore (from super sweet Laura Jones) was SO cute!!
