Baby Dedication!

Deuteronomy 11:18-19

"Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

Tyson and I have always talked about how important it is to us that we raise our babies up to know and to love and to serve the Lord. One of the greatest commandments He gives us is to simply LOVE the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul and mind. And we do. Without a doubt we do. And we want our children to see that love within us. We want to teach them about how much God loves them, and how absolutely precious they are in His sight. Before Parker was even conceived we were praying for him. For his health, his strength, his happiness, his choice in a college (a&m!!), and above all else, his salvation and relationship with the Lord. We had his baby dedication last weekend at church to show our commitment to raising him in such a way. We are supported by so many of our family and friends and our church, and so blessed to have their help and guidance as we walk along the path of leading Parker to be a man of God. PawPaw & Gigi, Nona & Papa, Uncle Robert & Aunt Kelly, and Uncle Keith & Aunt Katie were all there to watch as we dedicated Parker to the Lord. It was the very first milestone in his life with Christ and we can't wait to watch him fall in love with God!

PawPaw & Gigi came and stayed for the weekend for the dedication....Parker loved playing with them!

PawPaw & Gigi know how much Parker has been liking the Sesame Street characters...so of course, they had to bring him some new ones to play with!

3 generation of Thomas boys! :)

PawPaw & Gigi love their little Parker man!

Precious!

After the dedication everyone came over to our house for lunch. Tess just looooves Frank!

At the end of his special day, after everyone left, Parker had some fun with all of the Sesame Street friends that everyone bought him!!!
