We are two incredible, absolutely amazing, sleep deprived, weeks into our new adventure as parents and I can honestly say that my heart is bursting with love. I never fully understood a mother's love before now...but from the moment I saw Parker, I was 100% crazy in love with him. To say that I am overwhelmed with joy and with love is an understatement. He has captured my heart and created a feeling inside of me that I cannot put into words. All I can say is, I never knew I could love something that I'd never even met before, SO very much. And it's opened my eyes to just how much our Father in heaven loves us. I never fully understood it before now. And I haven't been able to stop thanking Him for giving Parker to us. He made us wait patiently for a baby, and it was worth every tear, every prayer, every disappointment, because it meant that we were waiting for Parker James. This precious, absolutely perfect baby that we have the privilege of loving each day for the rest of our lives!
My heart is bursting with new love for my husband. I never knew I could fall so much more in love with him, but watching Tyson become a daddy has me looking at him in a whole new way. He has been amazing with Parker - from changing diapers at 3am to snuggling with him on the couch to playing with him on the floor. And talk about LOVE - Parker has daddy completely wrapped around his finger - oohing and aaahing at each little sound or new expression on his face. Not only is he an amazing daddy, but he is my true love and a wonderful husband. I have been under strict orders to only rest and take care of Parker, which has left Tyson in charge of taking care of me & Parker, and the house and the dog and the yard, and the laundry and the cooking all on top of working! And he's done it with a smile on his face. Can you see why I love him so much?
Parker really is SUCH a GOOD baby! He is nursing well, sleeping great, and hardly EVER cries! We were blessed with a true little angel! Here are some pictures from our first 2 weeks as a family of THREE!
