My sweet hubby and I just got back from a GREAT trip to Boston together. I guess we started a tradition when we took our first "Baby Moon" to NYC when I was pregnant with Parker, so we felt like we should absolutely take another one now that his brothers are on the way. That, plus that fact that we probably won't have many chances to get-away alone once we're a family of FIVE. It sounds really weird just saying that! Anyways, back to the trip. We LOVED Boston. Had never been there before and would go back again in a heart beat. It's charming, and quaint, and historic, and full of history. I mean FULL of it. It's a big city that feels small, and each street we walked down seemed to steal a little piece of my heart with it's adorable old buildings and sidewalk cafes. And their accents? Awesome. It just so happened that the Red Sox were playing the Yankees at home, so naturally, we HAD to go...plus seeing a game in Fenway was sort of something on both of our bucket lists. That might have been our favorite part of the whole trip...it was SO much fun and just so Bostonish. A memory we will never forget! Plus, the Red Sox won, so it really could not have been better. We even made it to Harvard for a tour of the campus (didn't quite feel smart enough to be there!) and bought the babies their very own stuffed animals (just like we did for Parker in NYC at FAO Schwarz when we bought his puppy...which is his absolute FAVE) at The World's Only Curious George Store. All in all, we had a blast together like we always do and enjoyed making some more "us" memories before our family grows again! So here's pics from our trip, plus all of the "update" pics I kept getting of Parker while he stayed with Aunt Kelly, Uncle Robert and the three T's!
We LOVED this restaurant in Australia and were shocked to find one here!!
We figured out that the guy sitting right in front of us is one of the Backstreet Boys!
