Surprise!

Since daddy has been so busy with work lately, Parker and I decided to take a trip up to Fort Worth to surprise Gigi and PawPaw for a couple of days!  We had a GREAT visit and daddy was able to stay late at work and get lots done without us.  Gigi (and Uncle Colby) watched Parker and I got to spend a day out shopping and running all kinds of errands for Parker's birthday party!  Thank you SO much, Gigi and PawPaw for another wonderful time in Aledo!  We love you!

His first long trip in his big boy carseat...his poor little neck!

Of course, Gigi was waiting with lots of neat Easter presents to spoil Parker with!

Lately, he is obsessed with balls so this was the perfect gift for him!

He loved Sunshine the duck, too!

Our first night there, PawPaw grilled us some great steaks!  We played outside while he was cooking...

Uncle Colby was having fun introducing Parker to a football

He was teaching Parker how to catch and pass and all kinds of things...after the athletes he is related to, this boy has no choice but to be an all-star ball player that's for sure!!

Parker loved playing with the football!

Deke wasn't quite sure what to think of Parker....but he's coming around!

 What a GREAT pic!!!!

So Parker has been pointing at everything lately, and we noticed that his pointer finger is a little on the double jointed side, or something!  Look at how it bends in the middle!

Time to get out of the wagon!

Oh, how Parker LOVED exploring in Gigi's kitchen!  Luckily, she has one cupboard that's still empty so he could climb inside and play.

He was tired after our long day of traveling and playing!

His hair is cracking me up in this picture!  It already needs cut again!

We decided to go for a walk and look for some bluebonnets to take his picture in!

Parker James and his beautiful Gigi!  Too cute!!!

LOVE this picture!  It's like he is posing!!

We ate at our very favorite Mexican restaurant the second night, Uncle Julio's!  Parker loved it just as much as Tyson and I do!  Then we came home, took a bath, and played around before bedtime.

Parker and his Pawpaw!

Uncle Colby was working on his walking skills...

Of course, there was a football involved!

On the way home, Parker and I stopped at Chickfila for some lunch.  He was cracking me up with this face!

He slept GREAT on the way back after two days FULL of fun with his PawPaw, Gigi and Uncle Colby!
