Playgroup Costume Party

I have come to realize that Halloween was a holiday created by parents so they would have an excuse to put their children in ridiculously cute costumes and take bazillions of pictures of them! Seriously, there is nothing cuter than babies dressed up! So for playgroup this week, we had a costume party and all of the kiddos came sporting their Halloween costumes. Now, I don't think that parents had in mind spending $50 on costumes when they created this holiday, and so needless to say, Parker was going to have to wear a homemade costume that didn't break the bank. And since his daddy's beloved Texas Rangers are in the World Series right now, I thought it was just perfect for him to be a baseball player!

Baseball player meets turtle!

It was so funny to see the way they were looking at one another!

I love this picture! Parker was cracking up at the turtle!

Now the fun starts! My friend had gone a little crazy and bought several Halloween costumes at a discount shop and this one was too big for her son...so Parker got to be a dinosaur for the day! He wasn't quite so sure about it at first!

CUTEST dino EVER!

Of course, we had to get a pic of all of the kiddos in their costumes...which proved to be quite a challenge...

Parker and Collin are slowly sliding down....

The rockstar is trying to escape, the elephant is hot, and the pumpkin is almost buried!

Check out the cutest Halloween jammies, courtesy of Russell, who passed them on to Trent, who passed them on to Parker!!

Haha! Love it!
